Wallside Windows

Wallside Windows is an industry leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of residential windows. I worked with Wallside to create an all-in-one sales application for their field team.

Build a sales application

After extensive research into their sales & manufacturing process, we converted a dated, paper-based process into and an high converting presentation tool. This new sales platform dramatically reduces the complexities required to provide an accurate quote, and helps establish trust between the sales representative and the customer.

Wireframe, Prototype, Repeat

A solid foundation of strategy and research really brought this project to life. Each product was intricately mapped with a series of spreadsheets, documenting which configurations were possible and which weren't. From this research, we created over 75(!) wireframes and countless prototypes that we directly tested  with their sales team, tweaking until we had the perfect flow.

Trustworthy quotes

One of the guiding principles of this project was to build trust between the prospect and the sales representative. That's why we designed a quote that was meant to be shared, so customer's can see exactly what they're getting and at what price.

Intricate product builder

There are an immense amount of configurable options for each window type. From colors and grids to glass and installation. Our goal was to design a product builder that guided the sales representative through this process, leaving out the guess-work. After extensive research and user interviews, we designed a dynamic configurator that made it easy for sales representatives to build a series of windows.

Prospect deep-dive

Alongside the product configurator, we designed and built a CRM directly into the application. Each prospect has associated appointments, available contacts, generated quotes, and a feed of activity. We wanted to give the sales representative a birds-eye view of everything related to their prospect.
